Les Feldick Bible Study

What does a lack of faith do to a person's behavior?

A lack of faith affects a person's behavior, producing a diminished sense of right and wrong. People destitute of faith may fail to comprehend that violence is wrong or that immorality exists. Faith, by contrast, changes that condition and the resulting behavior.

Les explains that Esau was a man destitute of faith, and when people are destitute of faith, it affects their behavior. He illustrates this by sharing a conversation with a lady who works with pregnant teenage girls; she said these teenagers have no sense of right and wrong, no one is teaching them, and they do not comprehend that violence is wrong or that immorality exists. Les concludes that faith changes that.
