How old was Isaac when Jacob and Esau were born?
Isaac was 60 years old when Jacob and Esau were born. He had married Rebekah at age 40, and twenty years later, when Isaac was 60, Rebekah gave birth to the twins Jacob and Esau. Thus the birth occurred when Isaac was 60.
Les teaches that when Isaac was 40, he married Rebekah. Then 20 years later, when Isaac was 60, the twins Jacob and Esau were born. Les provides this as part of a brief outline of the time element, noting that Abraham was 100 when Isaac was born, and that when Isaac was 75, Abraham died at age 175.
