Who is a Jew and who is a Gentile?
A Jew is anyone descended from the bloodline of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob and the twelve patriarchs. A Gentile is everybody else—whether Arab, Oriental, African, European, or American—anyone not of that Abrahamic line is a non-Jew and therefore a Gentile.
Les explains that Abraham was originally of the one race coming out of Adam, but when God put the finger on Abraham in Ur of the Chaldees and gave him the covenant, He brought him out of the mainstream of humanity. Abraham became the father of a whole new race of people, the nation of Israel, through Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. That nation was a separated race of people and no longer part of the Gentile families. Therefore, a Jew is anyone from the bloodline of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob and the twelve patriarchs. A Gentile is everybody else—Arabs, Oriental, African, European, American—anyone not of that line is a non-Jew and a Gentile. Les emphasizes that the Jew came about because of Abraham's distinctive call to become a nation, a separated people off the mainstream of humanity.
