Why don't believers have to shrink from anybody?
Believers do not have to shrink from anybody because Christ bears the name King of kings and Lord of lords, the epitome of power. Those who have trusted the Gospel will be part and parcel of His coming reign and will rule and reign with Him.
Les teaches that believers do not have to shrink from anybody because of who Christ is—the One with a name written on His vesture and thigh: King of kings and Lord of lords. That name is the epitome of His power, and it is coming. Les explains that those who have trusted the Gospel will be part and parcel of that coming reign and will rule and reign with Him. Paul says we will rule and reign with Him, and Revelation says we will reign with Him a thousand years on this earth. Les notes that some rebel against this, but they must throw away half the Bible to teach that the Second Coming ends everything. When He comes, He will be King of kings and Lord of lords, and we will rule and reign with Him.
