When does God's seven-year tribulation clock start running?

God's seven-year tribulation clock starts running when the Antichrist signs a seven-year covenant or treaty with Israel. That treaty signing restarts God's prophetic time clock, which had stopped at the cross, and begins the final seven-year period, the seventieth week.

Les explains that the prince from the revived Roman Empire will make a seven-year treaty with Israel, the many, as described in verse 27. He teaches that when that treaty is signed by the Antichrist and Israel, it puts God's time clock back in gear, which stopped at the cross and has been an indeterminate number of years since. As soon as that man signs a treaty with Israel, God's seven-year time clock starts running. Then, in the middle of the week, at three and a half years, he will cause the sacrifice and oblation to cease, which Jesus referenced in Matthew 24 when He said to flee to the mountains.
