When do the seven years of tribulation begin?
The seven years of tribulation begin immediately after the church age is completed. Once that undetermined period of time ends, prophecy resumes and a specific seven-year time frame starts. Scripture gives no date for the church's departure, but it places the tribulation's start right after the church age concludes.
Les explains that the church age has no prophetic utterance connected with it, so no one can set a date for Christ's return for the church. However, when the church age is done and that undetermined period of time is ended, the seven years of the tribulation begin. At that point, we are back in prophecy and back in a time frame, and seven years will elapse exactly as prophecy says. The church age, by contrast, has nothing like that.
