What will believers' reward be when they rule and reign with Christ in the kingdom?

According to this teaching, the reward for believers who rule and reign with Christ in the kingdom is the amount of responsibility they will be given in that kingdom operation. Those who work for reward will be in the center of kingdom activity, while careless believers will be sidelined.

Les explains that when believers finally enter the kingdom economy and rule and reign with Christ, their reward will be the amount of responsibility they are given in that kingdom operation. He illustrates this with a Dallas Cowboys analogy: he would rather be a quarterback on the field, even if he gets his head knocked off, than sit up in the euchre seats. Likewise, if believers work for reward, they will be in the very center of activity when the kingdom comes. But if they are careless, having nothing but wood, hay, and stubble, they will still be there, yet up on the sidelines without the excitement. Les anticipates the objection that this will make people jealous, but he says jealousy is part of sin and the old Adam, which will not be there. The person who enters glory without reward will not be jealous or envious. He stresses that salvation is by faith alone, but the Christian life is working for reward.
