What does the illustration of a symphony teach about God's workmanship?

The symphony illustration teaches that God's workmanship is like many instruments brought together in beautiful harmony, with major and minor chords. Just as assembling a symphony takes effort, God has done that with believers: they are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for the good works He ordained.

Les explains that the word "workmanship" has a root from which the word symphony may come. A symphony is that whole group of instruments coming together in beautiful harmony, in major and minor chords, producing beautiful music. But it takes some doing to get it all put together, and that is what God has done with us. Since we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus, believers are to live differently than the lost person and practice the good works God before ordained that we should walk in them.

Ephesians 2:10

For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

Why does Les connect the word 'workmanship' with the word 'symphony'?

Les (with the caveat that Greek scholars could correct him) thinks the Greek word translated 'workmanship' has the same Greek connection as the word 'symphony,' and he values the comparison because in symphonic music many different instruments melt together into one beautiful sound.
