Who is God calling to be the bride of Christ in the present age?

In the present age, God is calling primarily Gentiles—though not exclusively—to be the bride of Christ. The Holy Spirit has been sent to call out a Gentile bride for God the Son, while some Jews are also being saved. This parallels Abraham sending his servant to find a bride for Isaac.

Les explains that Genesis 24 pictures the calling out of a bride for Isaac, where Abraham the father sent his servant into a far country to his original kinfolk to find a bride for his son. Les likens that servant to the work of the Holy Spirit in calling out the bride of Christ. He then connects this to the present age: God has sent the Holy Spirit primarily among the Gentiles—not exclusively, since some Jews are being saved—but it is primarily the age of the Gentile for a Gentile bride for God the Son. He also ties this to the timeline from Abraham and the Abrahamic covenant, through Moses and the law, and Daniel's 490 years for Israel, noting that the church age was not hinted in the prophetic program.
