Does God still keep his covenant with Israel even when Jews are disobedient?
Yes. Scripture plainly teaches that no matter what an Israelite or Jew may do, God will still maintain the covenant He made with Abraham. The present-day Jew remains Abraham’s offspring, and God will once again pick up where He left off with His nation Israel.
Les explains that the Bible teaches plainly that no matter what the Israelite or Jew may do, God is still going to maintain the covenant He made with Abraham back in 2000 B.C. The present-day Jew is still the offspring of Abraham. Even though we are not yet into the Jewish aspect of the tribulation, all of it is coming; the Middle East situation is merely setting the stage for God to once again pick up where He left off with His nation of Israel back in the book of Acts. Les also connects this to the covenant of circumcision, noting that years after the original covenant and even after the deed in chapter 15, God cements the whole thing with a blood covenant, as the ancients would mix blood when making a covenant.
