Why did God protect the seed of the woman from the curse?

God protected the seed of the woman because He was looking ahead to the coming Redeemer. Christ had to be born of a woman yet be sinless, and since the curse came through the human father, God impregnated Mary without a human father, producing a sinless, divine Savior.

Les explains that the line of the curse comes through the blood, through the father. Therefore every human being is a born sinner by virtue of inheritance from the father, not necessarily the mother, although she is just as much a sinner. God insulated the seed of the woman because He was looking down through the eons of time to the coming Redeemer. Christ had to be born of a woman, but He had to be sinless. Since the ovum or reproductive cells of the woman did not carry the curse, God acted at the virgin birth: God impregnated Mary, and she became the mother of the Lord Jesus without benefit of a human father. Thus Jesus could be born of the woman without the effects of the curse that came from the human father, and He was sinless and divine. His blood circulatory system did not originate with the human element but with God, yet because He was born of the woman He was human, with the same appetites, eating and sleeping like us, yet without sin.

Genesis 3:15

And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.
