Les Feldick Bible Study

What does the first law of thermodynamics say according to this teaching?

According to this teaching, the first law of thermodynamics states that nothing is now being created nor destroyed. God had this law in place when creation was finished, so the original creation was perfect, with nothing deteriorating, dying, or rotting, and nothing further needed to be created.

Les explains that after God finished creation, the first law of thermodynamics was already in place. That law means there is now nothing being created nor destroyed. In the Genesis context, this describes a perfect creation: nothing deteriorating, nothing dying, nothing rotting. Everything God knew the coming race of people would need was already here, and nothing needed to be created any more. It was perfect and good.

Genesis 2:3

And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made.
