Why did Adam's sin bring corruption, decay, and the second law of thermodynamics into the world?
When Adam sinned, death entered the world, and with death came the second law of thermodynamics. From that point, all things now die, corrupt, and degenerate into less usable states. Adam's one act of sin passed death upon all people.
Les explains that the first law was apropos until Adam sinned, but the moment he sinned and death entered, the second law of thermodynamics came into play. As a result, everything now dies, corrupts, and degenerates, going into a less usable state. He also ties this to the statement that by one man, Adam, sin and death entered, and so death passed upon all. Therefore every one of us, if the Lord tarries, will die physically.
