If God keeps track of all the stars, does He also keep track of me?
Yes. The Creator holds everything exactly where it belongs. Because He keeps track of stars and celestial bodies as numerous as sand grains, He also truly keeps track of you. You can rest assured He is keeping track of you.
Les explains that the Creator not only created everything but holds everything exactly where it belongs. He reasons that if God can keep track of as many stars and celestial bodies as there are grains of sand on the beaches of this world, then He keeps track of the individual. Les assures listeners that they can rest assured He is keeping track of them. He calls this a God beyond human understanding, yet the God of this Book. Les also connects this to salvation and calling: this God has saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works but according to His own purpose and grace given in Christ Jesus. That purpose was generated before the world began, in the counsel of Acts chapter 2, and was already in the mind of God. Les says Paul could write that believers were chosen in Him before the foundation of the world. He concludes that it is mind-boggling, and the only thing we can do is take it by faith; he cannot understand or comprehend it, but it is what the Word declares.
