Les Feldick Bible Study

Does it matter which religion a person practices?

It does not matter which religion a person practices, because every religion is a compilation of human efforts to appease a holy God. Whether Oriental, Protestant, Catholic, or Jewish, all are man's attempt to merit favor with God.

Les explains that religion is always a compilation of man's efforts to somehow appease a Holy God. He says he doesn't care if it's the Oriental, Protestantism, Catholicism, or Judaism, because religion is always what man attempts to do to merit favor with God. He also notes that the Jews' religion, which Paul practiced before, had nothing of the power of God in it.
