Does being Jewish or of another race matter in the body of Christ?
No. In the body of Christ, racial and ethnic distinctions do not matter. Whether a person is black or white, Oriental or European, Jew or Gentile, all believers are one in Christ and are members of His body. Therefore, Jewish believers are not excluded; they belong to the same body.
Les explains this by recalling a Jewish lady who came to a Minneapolis seminar and asked whether she would be left behind if the rapture occurred that night because she was a Jew. He assured her that she is a member of the body. When we come into the body, it does not matter whether we are black or white, Oriental or European, Jew or Gentile; we are all one in Christ and members of the body. So if the rapture takes place, Jewish believers will go along with us, as will people from other backgrounds, because we are all one in Christ.
