How long in the Bible is God's program Jew only?
According to the timeline given, God's program remained Jew only from the call of Abraham until well into the Book of Acts, with some exceptions. During Christ's earthly ministry, the twelve were sent only to the lost sheep of the house of Israel, not to Gentiles or Samaritans, until Israel rejected Him and the turn to Gentiles came.
Les teaches that from the Scriptures, all the way from the call of Abraham until we get way into the Book of Acts, it is Jew only, with some exceptions, and he never likes anyone to forget that part. He points to Christ's earthly ministry, when the twelve were commanded not to go into the way of a Gentile or into any city of the Samaritan, but to go only to the lost sheep of the house of Israel. He recalls people having a hard time swallowing this, including a tour group member who became angry and asked whether Jesus had nothing to do with the Gentiles. Les replied that the Book says He came only to the Jew, and when Israel rejected it, then He would turn to the Gentile. In Acts chapter 1 verse 6, the eleven ask whether He will at that time restore again the kingdom to Israel.
