What time period in the Bible did God deal only with the Jews?

The time period from Genesis chapter 12 until the Book of Acts is when God dealt only with the Jews, with very few exceptions. It covers the Abrahamic Covenant and God's dealing with the nation of Israel. This era begins with Abraham and extends to the early Acts period.

Les teaches that from Genesis chapter 12 until the Book of Acts, God dealt with Jew only, with some exceptions, but very, very few. He explains that everything from Genesis chapter 12 and the Abrahamic Covenant is dealing with the nation of Israel, giving them the Law, the Temple, with the idea that one day God would funnel them back into that filthy, ungodly river of humanity, and bring them a knowledge of the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. Les notes that was the noble plan of God in His sovereignty, but it didn't work because Israel didn't believe it. He also places this within a time framework, noting that from 2000 years to the next big event in Old Testament history at 1000 B.C., there was the appearance of King David, then Solomon his son, who built the first Temple.
