When did God deal only with the Jews?

From the call of Abraham around 2000 BC until Christ's first advent, a span of about 2000 years, God dealt only with the Jews, with exceptions. This period is called the time of prophecy, the prophetic program, or the Old Testament program.

Les explains that the 2000 BC call of Abraham marks the beginning of a 2000-year period in which God dealt primarily with the Jews, up to Christ's first advent. He notes there were exceptions, but calls this whole era the time of prophecy, the prophetic program, or the Old Testament program. This period ran from Abraham until the church age interrupted it. Les also emphasizes that true prophecy often includes a specific time frame, as God names days and years when He promises something.
