From Genesis 12 until Acts, who did God primarily deal with?

From Genesis 12 through the Book of Acts, God primarily dealt with the Jewish people, Israel. This was not exclusive, as He showed sovereign grace to Gentiles like Nineveh and Rahab, but the primary focus remained the nation of Israel, the earthly people.

Les explains that beginning way back in Genesis, God started dealing with one nation in particular, the earthly people, Israel. From Adam to Abraham was about 2,000 years, and then about 2,000 before Christ, Abraham appeared and the nation of Israel began. From Genesis 12 until well into the Book of Acts, it is primarily, not exclusively, God dealing with Jew only. He picked up the term 'Jew only' from Acts 11:19 and uses it with exceptions. Even in the Old Testament economy, God dealt only with Israel, but in His sovereign grace He sent Jonah to Nineveh, a Gentile city, and the spies met Rahab on the wall of Jericho.
