During the period from Abraham to Christ's first advent, whom was God primarily dealing with?

From Abraham until Christ’s first advent, God primarily dealt with the nation of Israel. This was not exclusive, but Israel was the primary focus throughout that long period. Christ’s earthly ministry also went only to Israel before His crucifixion. That period spanned from Abraham to the first advent.

Les explains that from Abraham in 2000 until Christ’s first advent, it was primarily—not exclusively—God dealing only with the nation of Israel. Christ then came and brought about His three years of earthly ministry, preaching and proclaiming who He was only to the nation of Israel, and they crucified Him. After He ascended back to glory, the next event according to Psalms 2 would be God’s wrath and vexation—the seven years of tribulation—after which Christ would return and set up His Kingdom. Les notes the church age is missing from the Old Testament timeline.
