Where will the throne of the Son of Man's glory be?
The throne of the Son of Man's glory will be on the earth, specifically centered in Jerusalem. According to Zechariah it is earthly, and Isaiah chapter 2 capitalizes it in Jerusalem, where all nations will flow into it. This is the earthly phase of the glorious Kingdom on earth.
Les explains that when the Son of Man sits on the throne of His glory, this is a whole different ball game: He will be King of kings and Lord of lords. Les teaches that this throne is going to be on the earth, as seen back in Zechariah, and Isaiah chapter 2 capitalizes it in Jerusalem, with all the nations flowing into it. This is all part and parcel of the earthly part of the glorious Kingdom on earth. He also notes that when the Son of Man sits on His glorious throne, the eleven are promised twelve thrones, ruling the twelve tribes of Israel, which explains why Peter moved to replace Judas with Matthias.
