Where will Jesus sit on the throne of His glory?
Jesus will sit on the throne of His glory in Jerusalem. This will occur in the regeneration, when the earth is restored, the curse is lifted, the tribulation ends, and the Kingdom is established. At that time, the twelve apostles will also sit on twelve thrones, ruling the twelve tribes of Israel from Jerusalem.
Les explains that in the regeneration—when the earth is restored to its original state before the curse, the curse is lifted, the tribulation has ended, and the Kingdom is ready to come in—the Son of Man shall sit on the throne of His glory. As shown in Psalms chapter 2, that throne is in Jerusalem. Les teaches that when the Kingdom is set up and Israel is under their King, the twelve original apostles (with Matthias in Acts) will sit upon twelve thrones, judging or ruling the twelve tribes of Israel from Jerusalem, in the land of Israel. He ties this to the closing days of the tribulation in Luke 21, which leads into the beginning of the Kingdom.
