Will the world be destroyed by nuclear bombs before God allows it?
No. The world will not be destroyed by nuclear bombs ahead of God's timing. Nuclear warfare may occur during the tribulation, but it will not happen until God is ready to let it all happen. The end-times scenario does not support the world being blown up by nuclear warheads beforehand.
Les explains that everything begins and ends with and in God. He got everything started, created everything, set everything in motion, and will bring it to His own end. That is why he has taught for 25 years that the world is not going to be blown up with nuclear bombs until God is ready to do it Himself. He does not deny that there will be nuclear warfare in the tribulation, but it is not going to happen until God is ready to let it all happen. He has been comfortable teaching that we are not going to be blown up with nuclear warheads, because it does not fit with the end times scenario. The passage then moves to the dispensation of the fulness of times, which he feels is the thousand-year millennial reign, when God will gather together in one all things in Christ, both in heaven and on earth.
