Les Feldick Bible Study

Does God's time plan allow for a total world collapse now?

No. According to God’s time plan, total world collapse is not yet due because it is too early. There may be some blips, but the nations must still gather in the Middle East for Armageddon. Only after the tribulation has begun would such a collapse fit, in its middle period.

Les explains that he is not looking for a total crash and is not shaken up by the Y2K talk. He reasons that if everything crashed as predicted, the world's armies would never get to the Middle East, but they must get there for the Battle of Armageddon described in Zechariah 14. According to God's time plan, it is simply too early for the world to collapse. If we were already out of here and the tribulation had begun, a collapse might fit the middle of the tribulation. But since it is too early, he is not jumping on that bandwagon. Zechariah 14 also shows Christ's feet standing on the Mount of Olives at His Second Coming, an earthly scene, not heavenly.
