What happens to the earthly promises and the heavenly promises of the Church?
In the final dispensation, the earthly promises and the heavenly promises of the Church are amalgamated under one umbrella of Christ. They are not mixed but maintain their separate entities, all coming under His headship as King of kings and Lord of lords.
Les explains that the 10th verse of Ephesians speaks of all things finally consummated in the final dispensation, or the final thousand years. He reconstructs the earthly promises because they will be amalgamated with the heavenly promises of the Church under one umbrella of Christ. They are not mixed; they maintain their separate entities but come under Christ's headship as King of kings and Lord of lords. Isaiah 2:2 says in the last days the mountain, or kingdom, of the Lord's house will be established on top of the mountains and exalted above the hills. A mountain in Old Testament symbolism is a kingdom. Under His rule He will establish smaller kingdoms among the Gentile nations, and all nations shall flow into it because Jerusalem, the capital of this earthly kingdom, will be the center of the whole world's activity.
