Which nations does Bible prophecy deal with?

Bible prophecy deals with the Gentile nations and empires that had historical proximity to Israel, not America. Daniel's image identifies Babylon, the Medes and Persians, Greece, Rome, and the revived Roman Empire in Western Europe. Prophecy concerns nations connected to Israel in the Old Testament setting.

Les teaches from Daniel chapter 2 that Nebuchadnezzar's dream pictured the great Gentile empires that were in proximity with Israel. The image had a head of gold, chest of silver, belly of brass, legs of iron, and feet and toes of iron mixed with clay. Les explains that all prophecy deals only with the nations of the world that had something to do with Israel in the past, which is why he does not feel America is in prophecy; having many Jews in America does not count for that. The nations in the Old Testament historical setting that had proximity with Israel are in prophecy. Those empires are the Babylonian, then the Medes and Persians, then the Greek, then the Roman. They were all in the area of Jerusalem and had to do with the nation of Israel. The ten toes and feet of iron and clay represent the revived Roman Empire, which Les identifies as Western Europe coming to the fore.
