Who is biblical prophecy directed to?
Biblical prophecy is directed solely to the Jew. It is stressed that all end time prophecy is directed to the Jewish people, not the Church. This means prophecy does not pertain to the Church but to Israel. Therefore, biblical prophecy concerns the Jew alone, and not the Church.
Les explains that after Emperor Constantine embraced Christianity around 300-315 A.D., the Church exploded in numbers. The Church Fathers, Oregon being the first one, saw the Jewish Temple destroyed and the Jew uprooted and scattered throughout the Roman Empire. Oregon concluded God was through with the Jew, so the promises to Israel and Abraham were abrogated and given to the Church. Les teaches that this destroys all end time prophecy, because all prophecy is directed solely to the Jew.
