Les Feldick Bible Study

What happens to the things that are revealed?

The things that are revealed are made known to us and to our children forever, so that we may do all the words of the Law. They are given by revelation, while secret things remain with the Lord our God.

Les explains that Moses said the secret things belong unto the Lord our God, but the things which are revealed are made known by revelation to us and to our children forever, so that we may do all the words of this Law. Moses wrote under the Law, but he dealt with the same God we deal with, who kept things secret until He saw fit to reveal them. Ephesians 1:9 speaks of having made known unto us the mystery, or the secret, of His will, according to His good pleasure purposed in Himself, showing that everything starts and finishes in the mind of God.

Deuteronomy 29:29

The secret things belong unto the LORD our God: but those things which are revealed belong unto us and to our children for ever, that we may do all the words of this law.
