What happens when we appropriate God's grace?

Appropriating God's grace by faith produces abounding wisdom and prudence. Believers receive all things freely, more than they can handle, and this faith pleases God, bringing blessing. It is the abundant life, not something earned by groveling or climbing steps.

Les explains that when we appropriate God's grace by faith, we abound in wisdom and prudence. God has given all this to believers freely; we have not had to grovel in the ground, climb steps to St. Peter, or cross the ocean. It is abounding, more than we can handle. We appropriate it by faith, not always feeling or sensing it, but coming back to the Word and believing it. That is what God looks for, and the more we believe, the more He will bless, because nothing pleases God more than the faith of a human being. Unbelief is what He holds in the strongest light against mankind, and the opposite of unbelief is faith. So when His grace is appropriated, we abound in wisdom and prudence, unlike much of Christendom that flounders in ignorance of the Scriptures.
