Does God's grace reach down to carnal Christians who are sinning?

Yes, God's grace reaches down even to carnal Christians who are sinning, as shown with the Corinthians. Though this is not a license for sin, they were already under the blood and forgiven. God confirms them to the end, blameless in the day of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Les explains that even these carnal Corinthians, who were failing miserably, were already under the blood and already forgiven. If the Lord had come, they would not stand at the judgment seat of Christ shaking in their boots and shameful for all their unconfessed sin; they were blameless in the day of the Lord Jesus Christ. That shows how far God's grace will reach down. Yet Les stresses this is not a license for sin, because he cannot believe a true born-again child of God will test God's grace to see how far down He can go; a true believer will not do that.

1 Corinthians 1:8

Who shall also confirm you unto the end, that ye may be blameless in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ.
