Is God unchanging?
Yes, God is unchanging. Scripture teaches that God is immutable: Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever. He has never changed in the past, has not changed as of today, and will never change in the eternity future.
Les teaches that God has certain attributes we should constantly remind ourselves of. First, He is sovereign—absolutely sovereign, with no one above Him, never needing to go to someone else for advice or questioning. Second, God is immutable. Les points to Hebrews, where Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever. He has never changed in the past, has not changed as of today, and will never change in the eternity future. He is immutable.
Hebrews 13:8
