Does God ever change?
No. God is immutable and never changes. The things He laid down at the beginning remain applicable, and His attitude toward sin has not changed because of later human history. What He declared anathema in the Old Testament remains the same in His sight today and in the future. He changeth not.
Les explains that God is immutable, meaning He does not change. The things God laid down at the beginning are still applicable today; His attitude toward sin has not changed simply because it is a later time in human history. What He declared anathema in the Old Testament remains the same in His sight today and will be in the future if He tarries. He changeth not and is always the same. Unlike human beings, who may become untrustworthy because their attitudes change, God is not mutable; He never changes.
