When does the tree of life reappear in the Bible after it disappears in Genesis?
After disappearing from the scriptural account following Adam's sin and humanity's expulsion from Eden, the tree of life reappears in the last chapter of the last book of the Bible—Revelation—in the setting of the new heaven and new earth, where it will enhance eternal life.
Les teaches that after Adam sins, the tree of life disappears from the scriptural account. It will not be mentioned again after Adam and Eve leave the garden until the last chapter of the last book of the Bible, Revelation. He notes that much of what Genesis introduces always comes back in Revelation, and the tree of life is one of those things. In the new heaven and new earth, it comes back on the scene because there it will definitely enhance eternity. In the English it is called a healing, but Les explains it will be therapeutic and will enhance eternal life. Originally, had Adam been able to partake of it, he would have been able to live forever.
And out of the ground made the LORD God to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food; the tree of life also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of knowledge of good and evil.
In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.
