Why must the Church be taken out of the way before God resumes with Israel?
The Church must be taken out because the Church Age is a Pauline revelation, not Old Testament prophecy, and has nothing to do with Israel. Therefore it must be removed so God can pick up again with Israel and bring out the final seven years, divided into two 3½-year periods, and the Antichrist's appearance.
Les explains that after Pentecost, when Israel no longer believed Jesus was the Christ, God sent them into spiritual blindness and unbelief and began a totally different program: the out-calling of the Body of Christ, which is the Church Age. That is a Pauline revelation, so it has nothing to do with Old Testament prophecy or the nation of Israel. Consequently, it has to be taken out of the way—the rapture or outcalling of the Church—before God can pick up with the nation of Israel and bring out that final seven years, which Scripture divides 3½ and 3½, and the appearance of the Antichrist. This Pauline revelation prepares the world for the next event on God's calendar.
