Is everything in the Bible written directly to us?
No, not everything in the Bible is written directly to us. Scripture is to be believed from cover to cover, but some passages, like Leviticus 5's purification rites and offerings for touching unclean things, were not addressed to us, and we do not practice them.
Les explains that while we are to take God at His Word and believe it from cover to cover, not all of it is written to us. He gives the example of Leviticus 5, where anyone who touched something unclean had to go through the rites of purification and bring a particular offering. Les points out that we do not do that today, showing that some parts of Scripture were not addressed directly to us.
