How does the Noah flood judgment compare to the coming tribulation?
The Noah flood judgment came because the earth was corrupt and filled with violence, so God destroyed all flesh. The coming tribulation is the same kind of judgment, when God pours out His wrath and vexation on Christ-rejecting man during the final seven years.
Les teaches that just before the Noah flood, God saw the earth was corrupt before Him and filled with violence; all flesh had corrupted its way, so God said the end of all flesh had come and He would destroy them with the earth. That was what led up to the Noah flood. Now, Les explains, the world is approaching the same kind of judgment: God will pour out His wrath and vexation on Christ-rejecting man in what is called the final seven years of tribulation. Paul also lists the deeds of the ungodly in Romans 3, showing that the whole human race outside salvation has gone out of the way, become unprofitable, and none does good. This wickedness is worldwide, not limited to America or the western hemisphere.
And God said unto Noah, The end of all flesh is come before me; for the earth is filled with violence through them; and, behold, I will destroy them with the earth.
