Is the world approaching a judgment like the days of Noah?
Yes. The pre-Flood earth was corrupt before God and filled with violence, so God determined to destroy all flesh. The present world is likewise approaching a similar judgment, when God will pour out His wrath and vexation on Christ-rejecting man during the final seven years of tribulation.
Les teaches that the Genesis account shows the earth was corrupt before God and filled with violence, and God said the end of all flesh had come because the earth was filled with violence. That is what led up to the Noah flood. But he then says we are also now approaching the same kind of judgment, when God will pour out His wrath and vexation on Christ-rejecting man in the final seven years of tribulation. He also points to Romans chapter 3, where Paul lists the deeds of the ungodly, showing the whole human race outside of salvation has gone out of the way, become unprofitable, and none does good. Les notes this wickedness and unrighteousness is worldwide, not limited to America or the western hemisphere.
