What is the human condition we inherit from Adam?

Les explains that ever since Adam became the original sin nature, the spirit or place of fellowship with God was put out of commission and made dormant. Coming into human experience, we live in the same body of flesh, blood, and bone that operates the five senses, and the old personality—the sin nature—is operating; that is all we have. There is no way of communicating with God. The devil keeps telling the human race to do the opposite of what God says, and man is at enmity against God. Romans 8 makes plain that the lost person is an enemy of God; the only prayer of an unbeliever God hears is the call for salvation. Thus the race lives in the flesh with an old sin nature and nothing to keep it in communication with God.
