What fundamentals of the faith will Les never compromise?
The fundamentals that will never be compromised include who Christ is, His virgin birth, His being God the Creator, and His atoning work of the cross that completed every requirement for salvation. Also included are His resurrection from the dead and His coming again.
Les explains that he does not expect everyone to agree with him on everything, and he acknowledges he is human and not above error. But on these fundamentals—who Christ is, that He was virgin born, that He is God the Creator, that His atoning work of the cross completed every bit of God's requirement for salvation, that He rose from the dead, and that He is coming again—he will never compromise. He says he would rather go back and simply stay on the ranch. He also notes that if he sounded bold at times, this is why.
