What are the two absolutes that Les says can never be compromised?
The two non-negotiable absolutes are that without the shedding of blood there is no remission or forgiveness of sin, and that without faith it is impossible to please God. They cannot be detoured or compromised and must be faced head-on and brought together in Romans 3:25.
Les teaches that the Bible remains the Word of God and has not changed. In Hebrews 9:22 it says that without the shedding of blood there is no remission, so the blood cannot be bypassed. He says there are two absolutes we can never fool with, detour, or compromise but must face head-on: first, without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness of sin; second, Hebrews 11:6 says without faith it is impossible to please God. He then returns to Romans 3:25, where both absolutes are mentioned in the same verse, showing they must be brought together.
But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
