What happens to the person who leads others away from the Gospel of grace?
Such a person will bear his judgment, and that judgment is sure. He will one day stand before the great white throne as a lost person and be judged absolutely there. Preachers and theologians who mislead people will have the hottest corner in the lake of fire.
Les explains that these troublemakers were in Asia Minor and Galatia, and Paul still had confidence the Galatians would not be otherwise minded. But Paul warns that whoever brings in this false teaching and leads people away from the Gospel of grace will bear his judgment. Les teaches that this judgment is sure: the person will stand before the great white throne as a lost person and be judged absolutely there. He adds that preachers and theologians who mislead people will have the hottest corner in the lake of fire, because they mislead multitudes. He also notes that anyone who picks up the Book, whether a Sunday school teacher or someone leading a small devotional, accepts a tremendous responsibility.
I have confidence in you through the Lord, that ye will be none otherwise minded: but he that troubleth you shall bear his judgment, whosoever he be.
