Les Feldick Bible Study

What happens to the person who brings false teaching into a church and leads people away from the gospel of grace?

Scripture says such a person will bear his judgment, whatever his identity. His judgment is certain: he will one day stand before the great white throne as a lost person and be judged absolutely there. Those who mislead multitudes, especially preachers and theologians, face the hottest corner in the lake of fire.

Les explains that these troublemakers were in Asia Minor and Galatia, and though the apostle had not given up on bringing them back to the truth of the Gospel of the grace of God, he was confident the Galatians would be none otherwise minded. The one bringing in false teaching and leading people away from the Gospel of grace will bear sure judgment. Les says such a person will stand before the great white throne as a lost person and be judged absolutely. He has said for years that preachers and theologians who mislead people will have the hottest corner in the lake of fire, because they mislead multitudes. Picking up the book carries tremendous responsibility, whether one is a Sunday school teacher or leads a small devotional.

Galatians 5:10

I have confidence in you through the Lord, that ye will be none otherwise minded: but he that troubleth you shall bear his judgment, whosoever he be.
