What do false teachers do with God's grace?

False teachers turn the grace of our God into lasciviousness and deny the only Lord God and our Lord Jesus Christ. They creep in unawares, secretly, ungodly, ordained to condemnation, misleading the gullible who cannot see the difference. Their method is to enter as perfectly sanctioned with credentials, yet they lead people astray.

Les explains that Jude warns believers to earnestly contend for the faith once delivered to the saints because certain men have crept in unawares. They are not many, but enough. A false teacher never enters a church announcing he brings poison with the good stuff; he comes in as perfectly sanctioned with credentials, yet he is false. God in His foreknowledge knew what they would do and ordained them to condemnation. In reality they are ungodly: they turn the grace of our God into lasciviousness and deny the only Lord God and our Lord Jesus Christ. The gullible cannot see the difference, though these men may sound polished and knowledgeable. Paul shows the same modus operandi in Galatians: false teachers came in privately or secretly to spy out the liberty believers have from the demands of the Mosaic Law.

Jude 1:4

For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ.
