Is the message of Galatians still relevant today?
Yes. Galatians remains appropriate for today because Paul proves that believers are not under the Law but under grace. That grace-centered message is timeless, and knowing the genuine Word of God helps believers recognize counterfeit teaching immediately. Its relevance continues wherever the true gospel is proclaimed.
Les explains that the Book of Galatians is Paul proving that we are not under the Law but under Grace. He says this is so appropriate even for today, and he emphasizes that same point in Galatians chapter 4. Using the analogy of recognizing a counterfeit by first knowing the legitimate, Les teaches that if folks would just know what the Bible says, and know it forwards and backwards, then when counterfeit stuff comes along they will see it right away. So the message remains relevant because it keeps the grace gospel clear and exposes counterfeit teaching.
