Can believers avoid all of life's problems?
No. Scripture indicates believers can avoid most of life's problems by obedience to God's Word and by understanding their position as sons of God, but not all, since they are still flesh and human. Abundant life is available, yet physical troubles remain.
Les explains that the answer to all of life's dilemmas is in this book. All we have to do is be obedient to the things of God, and we will avoid most of those problems. He will not say believers avoid them all, because after all, we are flesh and human. But we can avoid so much if we understand our position as believers. Even in His earthly ministry, the Lord said He came to give us life more abundantly, and that holds: eternal life, and even in the physical, life more abundantly. Because believers are sons of God, the born ones as a result of salvation, God precipitates the action in spiritual affairs.
