How long was it from Abraham leaving Ur to the Passover night in Egypt?

The interval is exactly 430 years. God brought Abraham out of Ur of the Chaldees at precisely the right time and set him toward Canaan, and exactly 430 years later came the Passover night in Egypt, when Moses was ready to lead Israel out of captivity.

Les teaches that this 430-year span is an example of God's perfect timetable: He was never a day late or a day early. Abraham was brought out of Ur of the Chaldees exactly at the right time and set on the path to Canaan to become the father of the Jewish race. Exactly 430 years afterward was the night of the Passover in Egypt, with Moses ready to lead Israel out of captivity. Les also notes a further 40-year span from leaving Egypt until entering the Promised Land, and that the Passover was celebrated on the same day and month 40 years later when Joshua led them across the Jordan River. All God's timing is right on.
