How can Christians please God without rules and regulations?
Christians please God through the power of the Holy Spirit, not by any legal system. Under grace, freed from rules and regulations that dictate what they can or cannot do, believers can live in a way pleasing to God, while remembering this freedom is not license.
Les teaches that this freedom is not license. Believers have been set free from any legal system, from the idea that "you can't do this, you can't do that." The law had nothing of the Holy Spirit's power, but now through the power of the Holy Spirit, under grace, we can live and be pleasing in God's eyes without rules and regulations telling us what we can or cannot do. Les says this is the whole idea of this little letter.
