How does God the Father respond when a person gets saved?

When a person is saved, God the Father says He has been waiting for you and has been waiting for this day. He then places the believer positionally in a place of full responsibility, right up there with God the Son, though believers still begin as babes feeding on the milk of the Word.

Les explains this with an illustration of a father and son in a Middle Eastern jewelry business. The father is exhilarated when the son finally says he is ready to run the business with him, and the father says he has been waiting for that day. In the same way, every time a child of God is saved, God the Father says He has been waiting for that day. He places the believer in a position of full responsibility, positionally right up there with God the Son. Les notes that believers begin as babes feeding on the milk of the Word, but positionally they are joint heirs with Christ, heirs of God, and what is His is theirs.
