Les Feldick Bible Study

Would you ever see the soul or spirit of a person during an autopsy?

No. During an autopsy, one would never see a person's soul or spirit, because both are invisible. Their invisibility does not make them unreal; Scripture treats them as real. Human hands cannot touch the soul or spirit, for only God works in that invisible realm.

Les teaches from the morgue and autopsy illustration that the soul and spirit are invisible. If you accompanied a pathologist in an autopsy, you would not see a person's soul or spirit. That does not mean they are not real; they are real, but invisible. That invisible area is where God works. Human hands cannot touch the soul and spirit. You could baptize the body many times, but it would not change the soul and spirit, because the body is only an outer tabernacle; the soul and spirit are invisible, and only God can work there.
